TimeBinder
Timestamps your photos, raw footage and project files so you can show they existed no later than a given date.
Part of the publish stage. Try our free tool for this stage.
What it does
TimeBinder creates a timestamp record for your files before you publish them. The file is hashed on your own device and is never uploaded, so the record covers the exact version you made without you handing over your footage or photos. Later, you or anyone you share the record with can check it independently and see that the file existed no later than that date, and any later change to the file is detectable. It suits videographers, photographers, musicians and other creators whose work might get reposted, cropped or copied, and who want a dated record of their originals alongside their camera and project files. It does not register copyright and is not a substitute for legal advice.
