Part of the record stage.

What it does

Async records remote conversations without asking everyone to sit in a live call at the same time. Each participant answers on their own schedule and their video is captured on their own device, which sidesteps the two things that usually ruin a remote recording: a bad connection degrading the file, and four calendars that never line up. The output is per speaker rather than a single flattened call recording, so an editor can still cut and balance each voice separately afterwards. It suits interview and panel formats far better than anything that needs live back and forth.
