What it does
Zencastr records each participant locally in their own browser and uploads the clean track afterwards, so the file you edit is not the compressed call audio everyone heard. That single decision is what the tool is for, and it is the difference between a recording that sounds remote and one that does not. It began as a podcasting tool and video came later, which still shows in where the polish is. Guests need only a link and a browser, with nothing to install, which is what makes it survive contact with non-technical guests.
