Will the video quality be affected? expand_more
No. For MP4, MOV, and MKV inputs the video stream is copied bit-for-bit, so the picture is identical to the source. For WebM inputs we re-encode with libx264 at near-transparent quality (CRF 26), which is visually clean on typical content but technically a re-encode rather than a copy.

Can I mute just part of the video? expand_more
Not yet. This tool removes audio from the entire video. For partial muting (a specific time range), you would need a video editor with timeline controls. If silence in only part of your video is the issue, our Remove Silence tool can detect and cut silent gaps automatically.
Is my video file kept private? expand_more
Yes. Files are processed on a private server and automatically deleted 15 minutes after the job finishes. We never view, share, train on, or store your content.
